Membranes in power plants require a supporting infrastructure. This infrastructure, in turn, must work together with existing plant components. The Institute for Materials and Processes in Energy Systems (IWV-3) examines how the various processes are interlocked and how as much carbon dioxide as possible can be saved while maintaining high efficiency.
